Roof Restoration Services Include:
PRESSURE WASHING
The first step and an important part of roof restoration.
Lichen, moss and dirt on your roof will weaken tiles, hide cracks and fill up your gutters. A simple pressure wash can remove moss and dirt and maintain tile integrity.
RE-BEDDING
RE-POINTING
Pointing is coloured cement applied to the exposed side edges of ridge tiles to improve roof integrity and seal it against water and moisture. This cement will wear down over time, making repointing necessary, approximately every 10 years.
ROOF PANTING
Painting protects your roof tiles as we apply 1 coat of thick sealant and 2 coats of paint. It fills any small holes in your tiles and prevents cracking.
It also brings wonderful aesthetics and will increase the value of your home if you are thinking of selling.
Paint is available in standard and premium quality and in an array of colours for you to choose from. Standard paint has a 10 year warranty and premium paint has a 15 year warranty.
GUTTER CLEANING
If not cleaned properly and regularly, your gutters will either rust by retaining water or will be so full of leaves and moss, they will lose integrity, bend and may fall.
VALLEY REPLACEMENT
A valley is a trough formed where two roof slopes meet, with the purpose of collecting water to direct it into the gutter. Valleys are made of metal and can easily rust, leading to holes and roof leaks. They will need to be replaced when heavy rust is present.
